My Project

Fourth grade is an amazing year in elementary school! Fourth graders love to learn and are willing to work hard, while developing their own ideas and opinions about the world. They are also wildly creative! I have spent the past few years trying to incorporate more in depth art lessons into my classroom.

Art instruction has an essential role in the elementary classroom.

It gives students the opportunity to express themselves creatively, find academic success in a nontraditional way, and serves as an important part of our daily lives and culture. Unfortunately, we do not always have access to high quality materials, and many students are not able to bring supplies to school.

This upcoming school year, I want to provide my students more opportunities for art projects! We want to expand from traditional two dimensional art projects into three dimensional works, including sculpting, weaving, and paper mache. Please consider donating to provide these students with fun and engaging classroom projects! It is so appreciated!
