Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Kinders and first graders have lots to learn. By the end of first grade they need to know how to read, write, add and subtract. They also have science, social studies, health and PE. That is a lot to squeeze in a day.
We need to make art a priority.
Art promotes creativity, which brings the students to a new level of learning. Being creative helps students become better learners. These watercolor sets and related materials will encourage my students to create. For many students, art is the place where they feel the most successful.
