I'm a classroom teacher for 3-5 year old students in a preschool setting. I serve students who have special needs and those who are typically developing.
My students love exploring their environment and creating through various classroom materials and interactions with peers and adults.
We provide opportunities during small and large group activities for students to learn with intentional teaching to meet group and individual needs. Students participate in these activities through active learning, exploring their environment and engaging with materials and adults.
My Project
My students love to explore and create art projects with a variety of materials. My students use craft tape to expand their art projects with new materials, they use markers and dot paint to draw pictures unique to them. They use construction paper to add depth and size to their projects.
My students love to create art for themselves, to take home and to give away to peers or adults.
Creating art projects teaches them to problem solve skills while using materials. It will also provide opportunities to work together with peers and to create art projects as a team.
