My Project

My art room serves over 450 inner city students from various countries, backgrounds and cultures. Many of my students have special needs, big feelings, social anxieties and language barriers.

Help me provide resources for my students to thrive!

The art room is a safe space and I am always aiming to provide my students with comfort items as well as tools for self regulation.

Your donation will directly help me to provide students a space of their own for independent art creation, a calm down space with calm supplies for both emotional regulation and sensory regulation, as well as provide students a system for organizing artwork into art portfolios which ties into a key National Core Art Standard teaching the importance of a portfolio to keep artwork safe.
