This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Technology now a days is hard to keep up with. The computers we have now limit what we can look up. We cannot upload the pictures. How can we analyze a painting that we cannot see?

Our school is located in California.

My students' hobbies range from playing sports with their sibling to reading a book. My classroom has a variety of levels we have some students that are gifted but also have some that are far bellow basic. Our school is a low socioeconomic school. Most students to not have access to computers in their home. Our school and classroom is only place that they can access computers and the Internet.

My Project

Our class recently went to the Getty Museum and the students will be writing a report that will include their experience and some of the knowledge they gained at the museum. Students will be able to research artifacts, painting, sculptures to write reports about the Getty Museum and the Gene Autry Museum. This classroom laptop would be a valuable resource since many students do not have access to computers. The students will need to include the art work and a brief explanation. The student will be exposed art. I hope that with this new experience that some of the students will become artist.

My students are in dire need of technology.

We need to be able to download images from websites and the computer we have now is not compatible with any of the newer version. Please help us become better students by helping us get a laptop.
