Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year we have started an after-school program for students who have taken an interest in visual arts and would like to explore the topic more in-depth by using new materials(colored pencils, markers, magnetic tiles, clay, etc.), learning new techniques, and developing new skills. This club will also contribute to the aesthetics of the school by creating projects to share with everyone and help create any signage/scenery/props for events or programs the school may be hosting. This will give students something positive to look forward to and be a part of outside of the regular school day.
