Help me give my students watercolors, watercolor pencils, oil pastels, and brushes to create great pieces of art, so they can be amazing artists and make people experience something through their work.
All of my art club students are unique and creatively driven. They are detail-oriented, strong, and excited students who all have the same passion...art. They are hungry for a challenge and want to emerge not only as artistic leaders but cultural ones as well. They see art in everything and have a high interest in every art form from cartooning to computer art. My students are very creative as well as openminded and are not judgmental towards others. They have a passion for art as well as a love for making their ideas come to life.
They view the world differently and notice things the average person does not.
They appreciate beauty, unstructured activities and variety. They enjoy interesting and unusual people, sights, textures and sounds. These individuals prefer to work in unstructured situations and use their creativity and imagination. They have a lively spirit and a lot of enthusiasm and can often stay focused on a creative project and forget everything around them.
These art supplies will inspire creativity galore and help students realize their unique creative vision. The will encourage creative projects and try new things. These supplies will be helping my students develop mentally, socially, and emotionally. Creating art will boost their ability to analyze and problem-solve in myriad ways. Most important perhaps, when kids feel good while they are creating, art helps boost self-confidence. And children who feel able to experiment and to make mistakes feel free to invent new ways of thinking, which extends well beyond the craft room.
A report by Americans for the Arts states that young people who participate regularly in the arts (three hours a day on three days each week through one full year) are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement, to participate in a math and science fair, or to win an award for writing an essay or poem than children who do not participate.
