Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The students at my school are true artists, each with unique qualities and skills. When they come to art class they are all excited to se what we are doing next. Many of my students come from immigrant and refugee families, and they truly shine in this creative environment.

I believe that art is a universal language, and my English language learners demonstrate courage in their pursuit of learning and expressing themselves through art.

With caddies at each table, we can ensure that supplies are readily available for the students. Additionally, using foam, we can explore printmaking, which is one of my personal favorite mediums to teach. I love being there art teacher and want my students to be able to learn all the different types of art.
