This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Creativity, kindness, perseverance, strength, power, and responsibility are the qualities that truly make an artist and leader shine in my classroom. I cherish the unique qualities of each of my students in art class. With the supplies planned for the next school year, my aim is to ensure they have the materials and skills necessary to excel as artists.

Being an artist entails more than just drawing and painting; it also involves demonstrating passion and fostering growth.

I firmly believe that these qualities are what lead to the greatest success for my art students and make teaching them the most rewarding aspect of my job. With the addition of fun watercolor paints and Sharpie markers, we will have the tools to create countless masterpieces in our art class.
