Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In this project, I am requesting some basic art items. These are items that we go through so quickly and we need to replenish often. Paper, paint, and glue are about as basic as we can get but it's what my students love to do most. We glue every day in art class and paint weekly.

The construction paper will be needed to work on and create our amazing projects.

The glitter paint is an awesome alternative to glitter which can get in the eyes and other unwanted areas. The glue is vital to my art room.

My goal is to keep my art room stocked with supplies so that my students may make the most awesome artwork. I want my students to have the supplies they need to succeed.

My students are special because they are pre-k students who come to us at age 3 and stay until they leave for kindergarten at 5. They are specialized, intensive, and developmentally delayed learners who benefit from sensory and hands-on activities like art.
