My Project

One of our super star SHS students won the national Horace Mann teacher planner calendar illustration contest! Her winning entry gave SHS Art teachers $5,500 to spend on some extra special art supplies, gear, and equipment for the art room. We will be using the supplies for high resolution photography and oil painting landscapes. Student will be displaying these works at an art show that will be held at our school at the end of the school year. Aprons are also needed and are included in the supply list.

These funds will help us give our students additional opportunities to explore their creativity and skills as growing artists.

Our students will have the resources they need to continue create landscapes through digital and dark room photography, as well as oil painting with water mix oils and oil sticks. We appreciate Horace Mann supporting our local school and community. We can't wait to show off what our amazing student artist create.
