Art and Music in the Classroom

My Project

We are a very small school, with just 100 students. That means our resources are very tight. I am not just the classroom teacher, but also the art teacher. I would love my 22 students to have the opportunity to add art and music to their days. There are many studies that show how students benefit academically from taking part in creative activities. My students are in 7th and 8th grade and are capable of so much, especially if they had the materials to make it possible. They would love to learn music on recorders and paint like the great artist of all time! Thank you for helping expand our students' education.
