Help me give my students an immersive experience to explore college and career pathways in a unique way.

My Project

Argh, welcome to Career Island, where you race to collect treasures on the career trail! Each student will collect treasures while exploring Career Island in search of their career storyline. The island holds a variety of professional presentations and activities for students to partake in. Career Island provides participant’s an opportunity to explore a variety of career fields and educational pathways.

Students who journey through Career Island will complete Holland’s RIASEC inventory and match their personality results with local businesses and a broad variety of career pathways.

From here, students will collect treasures and gain information from jobs that match their personalities and interests and report what they have learned throughout the Career Island presentations. It is our hope that students will become passionate and excited about their career choices.
