This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are always excited and to learn. They are really excited to get more technology into our classroom too. They want to learn how to use it to better their education and to make school a fun experience.

My students are a group of inquisitive and eager minds who come from many different backgrounds, languages, and home environments.

A lot of our school's student population come from homes where technology is hard to come by. My hopes for my students is that they are exposed to as much technology and innovation as they possibly can be.

My Project

Students will be using the RFID readers/cards and LED screens to create a digital check-in and check-out system for their class. They will be able to make their own unique code to be displayed on the screen every time they check in and out of class.

This project would improve my students' understanding of real world applications for coding as well as giving them practical experience with hobby electronics.

We all live in a world full of electronics and having my students affect his or her individual world will only better them. Not only will this project be an excellent skill builder for my class, but it will also be one which they will never forget.
