I would like to add an aquarium to my classroom. Many students with attention difficulties are often easily frustrated in school. I would like to put an aquarium in my classroom with different kinds of fish to help calm and sooth upset students. I often work with children with learning disabilities and an aquarium would give them motivation to work. I could use feeding the fish or spending time at the aquarium as a motivator to finish work or turn in homework. There are endless science activities that could be done using an aquarium. I would love for my students to be able to experience the enjoyment of watching fish swim and communicate together.
