My students need to review some of ideas in the required AP Chemistry labs. These 4 computer virtual labs will allow them to repeat labs, review ideas and really learn these ideas.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Have you ever tried to push yourself to do something so difficult that you doubted your chances of success? These students have accepted the challenge of taking a very difficult class. Many have not taken chemistry, many struggle in mathematics and still others are English learners.
The AP Chemistry class is at a high poverty school in a large urban school district in a class with a first-time AP teacher.
Many are the first in their families to attempt an AP course or to plan to go to college. Approximately half of the class are taking their first high school chemistry class. They include English learners, special education students, and students who struggle with math. Almost all are Hispanic.
My Project
The virtual labs that we are requesting will bring the difficult concepts in their AP Chemistry textbook to life. The 4 virtual labs requested are difficult labs to understand with just 1 attempt. This will give the students another way to experience and review lab concepts! Additionally, students will be able to review the underlying concepts with the included tutorials and reviews.
English learners and special education students will be able to see and analyze changes as they complete the labs with less interference from their individual learning challenges.
Please help me to provide a student-friendly way for these students to learn and review AP Chemistry content.
This project is very important because these virtual labs will help our diverse AP Chemistry students with understanding some very difficult ideas by giving them an additional way to experience the course.
