As a first-year teacher, your generosity has made a world of difference—not just for me, but for every student who walks through my door.\r\nThanks to your support, our classroom is now stocked with essential supplies like markers, pencils, dry erase markers, copy paper, and math manipulatives. These resources have transformed our learning environment into a space that's vibrant, organized, and ready for exploration.\r\n\r\nMy students are especially excited about the math manipulatives. These hands-on tools have helped bring abstract concepts to life, making math more interactive and accessible. I've seen students who were previously hesitant to participate now eagerly engage in activities, using the manipulatives to solve problems and explain their thinking to peers.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has not only helped us meet basic needs—it has empowered my students to learn with confidence and joy. Thank you for believing in us and for helping build the foundation of a successful school year.","fullyFundedDate":1746649758408,"projectUrl":"project/help-fund-a-first-year-teachers-classro/9278270/","projectTitle":"Help Fund a First-Year Teacher's Classroom Supplies!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Lopez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10005260_orig.jpg?crop=2538,2538,x477,y1653&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745520699530","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10005260"},{"teacherId":10005260,"projectId":9277045,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom! Thanks to your kindness, we now have a color printer and extra toner cartridges—an incredible addition that has already made a meaningful impact on our students' learning experience.\r\n\r\nIn our math classroom, visuals play a huge role in helping students grasp complex concepts. With the new color printer, we're able to create vibrant, engaging materials—like color-coded graphs, interactive worksheets, and student-created projects—that make abstract ideas more accessible and exciting. The ability to print in color has transformed how students interact with the content, especially for visual learners who benefit from seeing distinctions clearly.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our classroom and investing in our students' success. Setting new norms that involve breaking the addiction to phones was an uphill battle. Students need to get used to socializing with each other, get frustrated but continue anyways, and learn to enjoy the simple act of playing games. \r\n\r\nWith these new games students have begun to open up to one another and see class as a place they can relax and have fun. I was surprised to find out that many students had little experience with traditional cards and games. They had to learn basics such as what a jack and queen were. While this may not seem appropriate for a high school classroom, it's knowledge they can use with their friends and family outside of school.\r\n\r\nThank you for your generosity and willingness to support another's vision. You have brought joy and a sense of play back to the classroom where it was sorely needed.","fullyFundedDate":1739981879212,"projectUrl":"project/no-phonesnow-what/9100963/","projectTitle":"No Phones.....Now What???","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Winter","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1280265_orig.jpg?crop=1080,1080,x182,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1631121238859","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-winter"},{"teacherId":6464932,"projectId":8911849,"letterContent":"Thank you for your helping our Library grow in diversity.
