This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

AP Biology has 6 science practices that the students must master to score well on the Exam at the end of the year. Science Practice #2 is visual representation. Students tend to understand the other practices if they can visualize the content in their minds. So, I believe it is a gateway practice.

Visual aid resources pay dividends in the long run when learning AP Biology.

If the students see the content, they can understand the content. Many times, in AP Biology students have to learn information without truly understanding what is being taught. This sometimes comes down to not understanding what it looks like. In order to test well in AP Biology, the students must understand the foundational concepts. And many times, the foundation begins with understanding the 3D world.

These resources will assist in the students seeing the 3D world of AP Biology.
