My students need an Alexa Echo in the classroom for as many reasons as the Alexa is capable of!

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My Kindergartners come to school each day with an abundance of energy that I wish I could have. Teaching them is fun because as Kindergartners they are usually excited about everything that we do.
I'm constantly looking for creative ways to feed them more information.
My school is a rural country school located outside of the city. I have students with socioeconomic backgrounds ranging from poverty to upper class. With such a diverse group of kids comes a diverse set of needs. My hope is that this project meets some of the needs I have been struggling to meet.
The possibilities are endless with an Alexa in the classroom! For example, if we had an Alexa we could ask her questions related to environmental science, math, and famous artists! I could have Alexa choose a number for me at random to choose a student to answer a question. I witnessed students in one classroom choose an animal and Alexa asked the students questions to try to guess the animal. Alexa can also have you pick a number and she asks questions like "Is the number even or odd?" Alexa could help my students with letter recognition by calling out letter sounds.
Alexa could enhance our classroom technology experience and help my students become more comfortable with using it!
She could help us make lists of things we needed to do for the day. She can set a timer for us and she can read us a story. I could go on and on!
