When teaching Kindergarten this is most of my students' first experience with technology. They learn the basic parts of a computer. Once they are familiar with the parts they will be able to expand their knowledge through using google to research with help and online enrichment activities using the Chromebooks. With these Chromebooks my students will use them during center time to utilize the following programs, Reading Eggs, Starfall, ABC Ya, Lexia, and many more. I will also use the Chromebooks to help with RTI. They will learn computer skills while they are learning about reading, mathematics, science and social studies. Technology is such an important part of our everyday life. A solid foundation with technological skills is very important in the education world. I want my students to use technology to enhance their educational experience. It is important to have computer skills to be a productive member of society. I want to be able to provide that to them. Most of them have limited or no access at home.
