Another Year of DeltaMath

My Project

I initially began using DeltaMath's free version before the pandemic, but as our school transitioned into virtual and hybrid learning environments, I invested in the Plus version for my personal use. Since then, DeltaMath has become an indispensable tool in my classroom. Our school's current license runs out in October, so I am creating one project in hopes of being able to continue using DeltaMath Integral within my own classroom, and a second for the entire math department.

The Integral version of DeltaMath is a game-changer for math teachers.

It allows me to create customized problems, assign videos, distribute the same or random problems to all students, and even generate assignments and assessments in PDF format for students who prefer traditional paper or lack access to Chromebooks and/or the internet. DeltaMath offers a flexible platform for students to independently practice and master essential math skills and concepts. What sets it apart is its responsive development team, which continually incorporates user feedback and introduces new skills and features. The platform now boasts a range of interactive tools that greatly enhance students' ability to visualize complex concepts. A personal favorite of mine is the interactive demonstration of the sum of the interior angles of a triangle.

One of the standout features of DeltaMath is its unique origin story. It was conceived by a dedicated teacher in New York City who identified a pressing need in his own classroom. Today, it has expanded its reach across the nation, benefiting thousands of students. I find it particularly exciting that DeltaMath's roots in New York align seamlessly with our state's Next Gen Standards and Regents Exams, making it an ideal resource for our students' academic success.
