This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Magnatiles are colorful, translucent magnetic tiles that my kindergarteners absolutely love! We utilize our Light Table to explore the different shapes and to create unique structures. This builds fine motor skills, critical thinking and creativity. STEM activities help give children a hands on, authentic approach to the world around them.

These magnatiles depict beloved animals that call our wonderful planet Earth home!

Arctic animals, forest animals, dinosaurs- all of which are very exciting and beloved to kindergarten children!

This gift will provide ample opportunities to expand upon the importance of caring for our planet, environment and offer endless exploration and fun for years to come in my classroom.
