This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are working on animal research projects and habitat dioramas for Open House. Our students need books to research the animals they want to learn about. They also need small animals and materials to showcase their animal in its habitat in a shoebox diorama. We are excited to have the opportunity to do this hands on learning project where students will learn how to research and write a report as well as how to recreate a scene to show where their animals habitat is. Students will then do a presentation to share their findings with the class.
