Animal Puppets in the Art Room

Help me give my students art materials for creating a variety of different puppets. This includes socks, a puppet making kit, and more.

My Project

Your donation will provide students with the opportunity to create animal puppets while we are studying biomes in the art room.

Younger students will be able to cut and collage materials onto paper bags to create their animal while older students will be allowed to create a sock puppet or puppet made by cutting and sewing pieces of felt.

Making puppets with children provides various benefits. It can improve fine motor coordination skills, and help students learn rhymes, songs, and facts. They can also play an important role in developing and improving social skills through play. Puppets are also entertaining, so they can grab students’ attention and motivate them to create their own stories.
