My Project

I use anchor charts to display different concepts for students. This helps my ESL students tremendously in engaging in the classroom as they can use them to aid in formulating their answers. We put them together as a class which allows the teacher to assess levels of understanding and to differentiate education in future lessons. The students can use them in group projects to show their ideas.

I also included a daily science book.

I have used the 5th-grade version and it helped to incorporate science on days that we did not have a full experiment to do. It exposes them to academic vocabulary and offers another outlet for them to work through understanding scientific concepts.
