Help me give my students a multiple way of learning experience with an anatomy bundle. Plus, my students need the school supplies (that I asked for) on a daily basis. I need help in supplying them, please!
After 17 years teaching elementary school, I am so excited to teach science at middle school this year. My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! My sixth graders absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
I love the Anatomy bundle because it gives a visual and hands-on learning experience for my students. It makes science interesting, and students retain the knowledge so much more. I love to set up learning stations in my class. Students rotate and get to experience each organ that we are focusing on for the day. Discussion is so much more in depth because of the visual aids we have in class.
Also, my students use highlighters, color pencils, glue, scissors, and pencils weekly for their interactive notebook.
Students love to use Expo markers on some whiteboards of mine to draw organs and organ systems. They are amazing. I love how they can explain the digestive systems and such as they illustrate. So, as you can imagine, we run out of the normal school supplies quickly. I have been using my money to help support some students with their supplies. I would love donors to get the chance to donate to my students. They are hard working students who want to overcome the daily challenges that face them.
