My Project

Our class is in need of twenty-two copies of the first book in A Series of Unfortunate Events, titled A Bad Beginning. This Lemony Snicket book will be a fun book to finish our year off with but also one in which three of my students can intimately relate to as they have all lost their parents within the past several years.

It is always my desire to bring the love of reading into my students hands by providing literature that is both relatable and fun to read.

When I realized that we had just enough time to finish the year with one more book, I sought out adventures and allowed the students to vote. This is what they chose as what they wanted to read next! I have a couple of copies already, but they will need to share in groups of five to read along. It would be far more beneficial for each child to have their own copy.
