Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Students love to learn outdoors. It provides better ventilation and much more room than many indoor learning environments. We have been working for a few years now to develop a vibrant outdoor learning space and that means we need seating that can withstand the test of time and weather.

The kids want comfortable seating that is sturdy and safe, this bench is also our school colors so it becomes a school spirit bench.

Students will be able to sit on this bench while reading, eating lunch or just visiting with each other.

The coated metal construction means it will look good for years to come servicing hundreds, if not thousands of students. It will overlook our butterfly and herb gardens and they can make observations of the plant and animal life in comfort.
