My Project

Within a classroom, it is important to establish a community while also fostering independence. In order to do this, routines and expectations must be set so students learn what to expect each day in their classroom.

With this project, materials for both math and literacy centers will be kept neat and organized, making it easy for students to take ownership over this important part of their school day.

I am looking for clear organization bins to help keep materials for our centers tidy and clearly labeled, while also being easily accessible for my first graders.

I am also asking for help with getting a new area rug for our reading nook! The students love reading independently or with partners at our rug during literacy centers. Having a clean look with the black and white rug will make it more cozy.
