Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a public charter school with a high English Language Learner population. Many of our students receive free or reduced priced lunches as well. Our school relies on donations and fundraisers for many things.

My kindergarten students are excited about learning.

They enjoy new activities and resources brought into the classroom. Interactive, hands on, technology-related resources allow my students to be a part of the learning process and have ownership in their learning experiences.

For many of my students opportunities to use technology for learning is only available for them at school.

My Project

Although this school year has brought many new challenges, we are working hard to help all of our students. One of the hurdles we are dealing with is teaching students in the classroom and students remotely. Technology plays an important role in helping all learners.

An iPad will be very useful in the classroom, helping face to face learners and virtual learners as well.

An iPad will allow students to have lessons live streamed right to their homes! Students at school can use the iPad to access various academic apps and online curriculum. An iPad is a win-win for all!
