My Project

I'm a first-year teacher still building my catalog of classroom furniture. My major priorities right now are making sure that my LGBTQ+ students and students with disabilities feel safe and welcome, as my students are exposed to so much homophobia, transphobia, and ableism in their social media circles.

I want my classroom to clearly welcome and comfort students as they come in.

Even after so much progress, bigotry is still very normalized in our society. I want to show support to my students as whole human beings, including and affirming every aspect of their identity.

Please help me make my classroom a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment!
