This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The classroom environment is a vital component to student success and achievement. The walls of a classroom can transport a student to an endless world of possibilities, where the limits are set by them, and they can reach for the stars.

The first step to ensure student success is making them want to be present at school every day, and that begins with an AMAZING CLASSROOM.

Giving my students the classroom of their dreams will incite them to be present and engaged in the learning that is happening in the classroom. These items will make our classroom more welcoming, homey, and above all a safe space where ALL STUDENTS BELONG and they have the freedom needed to explore their creativity. Being part of a classroom that is decorated with love and with student success in mind will ensure that students understand how much they matter.
