Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I care deeply about the environment and I advocate for Climate Change awareness at my school. In this role, I need the students to have access apps that promote Climate Change awareness. Kids are now gathering their information on phones and hand held devices. Apps deliver news in the same way newspapers have in the past. My goal is to access apps like Earth Hero and Green Choice. Each of these apps deliver information about climate change in a way that is unique and engaging. I want to reach kids at their comfort level.

I will preview all Climate Change apps to anticipate what students will learn and how they can smoothly navigate the program.

The Apple pencils will be used to take notes of what I am learning and create my own digital lesson to enhance the apps.

I will also be sharing images, graphs and charts about climate change with my students through the iPad. The iPad is the best device to access and share this type of content.

Please help me to keep up with the times and promote Climate Change awareness.
