My students are four to five-year-old children that are eager to learn and curious about the world. Did you know that preschool provides the foundation for learning? Without a great foundation a house will not stand for long. Most of our students are at-risk students. Over 90% of our students are English language learners that receive free or reduced-price meals. I am proud to be part of a school that has a mission to offer high-quality education to at-risk children in grades Pre-K through fifth grade. Our school believes that every child can overcome hardships and become successful. The school, teachers, and parents are working together in order to close the gap.
I need this laptop to attend online professional development hours in order to stay in my current position of being a PK4 teacher. The professional development will improve my early education quality.
I will be completing my professional training on a program called eCircle which aligns its training to the Texas guidelines.
The professional development will be covering topics in classroom management, language, and literacy, social and emotional development, science, and mathematics. I am thrilled to attend this professional development in order to become a better teacher and to be able to have more ideas on how to differentiate my teaching.
