Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are new to high school and rely on stimulating environments, engaging instruction, and personal investment from their teacher. These three elements are critical in shaping a positive and productive freshman year. With the right tools, classrooms come alive and become spaces where students thrive and love to learn!

In Honors English 9 and Speech and Debate, students will use these classroom resources as additional seating options, lighting alternatives and adjustments, cleaning supplies and tools, wall decorations with positive affirmations, and storage options for our Cricut machinery.

We plan to take great care of these items to continue usage in future years.

The Eldorado Firehawks work hard to achieve their academic and personal goals. Financial hardships sometimes stagnate the progress and success of many of our students. However, with materials like these, and donors like you, we can set the class of 2029 up to have the BEST first year of high school ever!
