Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our school serves amazing students in grades PK-6 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a highly focused social and emotional learning environment.

I have 19 outstanding, energetic students in my 2nd grade classroom.

While my students are eager to learn, grow and become the best lifelong learners they can be, they face many obstacles which they work hard to overcome. These obstacles include attending a high-poverty, reduced resources, Title I school because 92% of them are currently living below the poverty line.

My Project

Whether in person, distance learning or some type of combination of them both, teaching this year is very different. My goal is to offer my students the best possible education I can, I must also address their social and emotional needs right now. Families are concerned about safety. I can help keep students safe by ensuring I am wearing my mask and keeping my distance at all times with this wireless voice amplifier. A Wireless Voice Amplifier will help my kids hear my strong teacher voice even under my N95 mask.
