This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At MMS, we value the arts and creating something that can give to others. In our creative writing program, our students have created a school podcast where we share our thoughts on school events, current events, social and emotional wellness and topics that are relevant to our young people. The computer, mics and headphones will help us deliver quality content to our school and give the students a way to take control over the technical aspects of podcasting.

We believe that giving the students their own voice and the power to use that voice is crucial and necessary.

These items will amplify our student voices in a clear and effective way. We would appreciate your help and use these things for years to come.
