My Students

Some of my students have not yet learned the joy of reading due to them struggling with many parts of literacy. These books are going to spark a love for reading that won't stop!

My students are amazing young people!

They work really hard to accomplish tasks that are easy for most students their age and they do it with a smile on their face. While, most of them struggle with reading I can see how happy they are when they accomplish a reading goal or are able to read a new word.

My Project

My students will discover how wonderful reading is by exploring many different genres of literature. They will explore poetry, fiction, non-fiction and more! They will learn that reading can take them away on an adventure or help them learn more about the world they live in.

Most of my students don't have the resources to afford their own books.

These books will give them a library of their own. The books will challenge the students to continue learning how to read and write so they can read all of the books in their new library on their own.
