I love to watch my students realize they are more than capable of learning. Many of my students struggle to learn at the quick pace of a regular education classroom. These students who have struggled with learning disabilities need a place to slow down and be successful learning, using their unique learning styles.
My students need to feel successful and develop a love for learning and academic achievements.
They would benefit from additional resources to help with their reasoning and processing skills. Training the brain to think is a necessary step in problem solving. To make my students successful, I am hoping to get materials that help them think and stretch their problem-solving skills and their worls views.
My Project
My students will use this Echo to ask questions and complete tasks throughout the school day. From giving us basic math facts, starting a timer or playing songs, my students will benefit from having this in our classroom. Many of my students have never used an Echo before and have not experienced the cool things that it can do. Integrating this kind of technology is a great way to teach students about the cool new technology.
Alexa will make a great addition to our classroom environment!
We are also going to use our new giant Ker Plunk games as a reward system. Students will win chances to pull sticks and when all the balls fall, the class will receive a reward. I can't wait for the excitement as we work hard to get class rewards.
