Amazing and Fun Kindergarten Kids Sharing Their Day

My Project

I am a kindergarten teacher and use the Seesaw platform to share my student's work and their exciting day, through the Seesaw app. Years ago I started using Seesaw to post pictures so the moms and dads could see their kindergarten children being happy and having fun in school. As a 5 year old, starting school can be scary and some students would get on the bus in the morning so sad, but once they arrived in the classroom they were great and I wanted to share that with the parents. As a teacher and a mom, I knew parents needed to see their children smiling as they were adjusting to school for the first time. Using Seesaw has expanded way beyond what I expected. I not only post my student's day, they actually share their work through this Seesaw Platform. They are currently using my classroom iPad mini which is quite old. The class was taught how to use the iPad and post their work and tag themselves on the Seesaw platform to share their academics throughout the day. I'd love for the class to use a newer version of an iPad to get all the new experiences. Thank you to Quinta Brunson for sharing the Donor's Choose name at the awards show last night.
