This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am requesting support for a project to give my students a two subject notebook for math class. Many students come to school with no supplies. If you support this project, my students will have a notebook to keep their interactive resources and their daily notes. There is no waiting for parents to purchase supplies; my district doesn't let teachers customize what we need our students to have.

In my math class, I use interactive notebooks; this project will allow for all my students to have a two subject notebook, the same color, for math on the very first day of class.

This will directly impact the possible academic success of each student.
