My Students
I have the best job of being a child's first teacher in elementary school and teaching kindergarten! My students love learning and are eager to come to school each day. They especially love when I can make their learning fun and engaging.
My kindergarten students love when I have extra supplies and learning tools that make our lessons just a little more fun and engaging.
It makes them excited to practice important skills and concepts and it enhances their learning.
My Project
Learning the alphabet is a critical skill in kindergarten! Most kids at my school come in knowing their letters and sounds, but there are a few kids who don't know any. Parents are always willing to help give their students extra help, but don't know where to start. This is why I am making alphabet intervention boxes that parents can check out and use at home to help give their child some extra help.
Inside of each box will be fun and engaging activities that the kids will love.
The parents will not have to make or prepare anything, it will be done and ready to go. The materials inside will make letter learning exciting to my students with things like Playdoh, magnets, and Wikki sticks!
