My Project
I teach at a school for high achieving students. They have dreams of attending universities with highly selective admissions and/or receiving large academic merit scholarships. With these dreams comes the reality of needing to do well on the ACT, PSAT, and/or SAT tests - leading to a lot of stress and anxiety.
I teach both an ACT and a PSAT/SAT prep class: despite preparation and the needed skills, my students become highly stressed in the days leading up to the national tests.
With your help, I would be able to create motivational test prep bags with uplifting messages, stress balls, and snacks to give to each of my students to remind them that they are ready. While I cannot take away the pressure that my students feel to score in the top percentages nationally, I can remind them that they are prepared and that I am cheering for them!
