All the World is a Stage!

My students need a sky of twinkling star lights, a canopy of leaves, and a rug of plush grass to preform their Readers' Theater!

My Students

Calling all lovers of play, imagination, and curiosity! I am a kindergarten teacher in a rural Michigan school with a great group of wonderfully energetic and imaginative young learners to call my own. Our Continuous Progress Kindergarten model also gives me opportunities throughout the day to welcome students from the other kindergarten classrooms into our "Classroom Home" for times of learning and fun. I love teaching these little ones because they are so bright-eyed and ready to discover!

Our children are a diverse group, each bringing something unique to the table.

No two children learn in exactly the same way, so we strive to create an atmosphere with options, something to meet everyone's needs. We have many strengths and a few challenges that your gifts could help us work through!

My Project

Drama! Excitement! Literacy! My Little Learners can't WAIT to do Readers' Theater! There is nothing more invigorating than seeing a five-year-old get into character. From learning to read their lines, to practicing their volume and inflection, Readers' Theater is a magical way to let children stretch their wings and soar!

Imagine walking into your kindergarten classroom to see a stage; a slice of nature for your characters to come a alive on!

There is a soft grass rug for "Pete the Cat" to play ball on. "Little Red Riding Hood" can stroll under the leafy forest canopy suspended from our ceiling all the way to Grandmother's house! And what twinkle twinkles brighter than little stars?! Why our new twinkling globe lights, of course!

Please help me to create this magical space for our little actors and actresses!
