Reading Just Ask! Be Different, Be Brave, Be You sparked a heartwarming conversation where students felt comfortable sharing their own unique strengths and differences. Seeing a student light up as they pointed to a picture and said, \"Hey, that sounds like me!\" was a moment I will never forget. A Bug and a Wish and The Pigeon Has Feelings, Too! have also given us practical, relatable tools for talking about emotions, resolving conflicts, and practicing kindness with one another every day.\r\n\r\nYour gift did far more than place books on a shelf; it gave my students stories where they can see themselves reflected, feel valued, and learn to appreciate the unique qualities in others.
