The mission of our school is to provide a whole school community that strives to challenge students and enrich the learning process through our seven core values. Here, we dedicate each day to achieving high academic standards and developing character. We support and nurture the whole child, and we work tirelessly to ensure that all children are given the opportunity to succeed and become productive members of a global society.
Within the last two years, several of the smaller schools in our district have closed and consolidated in order to combat the declining population and budget restraints.
Prior to the consolidation, there were four high schools. Currently, there are only two public high schools in our district, and residents now identify themselves based on their affiliation with a school. The consolidation of the schools has resulted in an interlinking and continuous fellowship among the residents within the county.
Many students come to the library to research information for their various classes. Often, they will have a device that they have borrowed from another teacher, or they seek to use the devices that are available in the library. Unfortunately, these devices can sometimes have low battery charges. It can be very unfortunate for students to lose power in the midst of a research project. Students also come to the library at the end of the day complaining that their cellphones have lost charge. We have very few plugs in the library and can only accommodate a few students at a time.
The RAVPower 60W 12A 6-Port USB Charger Desktop Charger Charging Station will be placed in a conspicuous corner of the library so that students can use it as needed.
