This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are historians that work hard!! We are always excited and ready to expand our knowledge in Social Studies. Although our school is located in a high poverty area, we are truly lifelong learners.

Student interest is sparked when their background knowledge is enhanced by my lessons.

Many of the places we have discussed, they never heard of. My students work hard in the classroom, they take pride in all of their work, and are willing to go above and beyond!

My Project

These globes will enhance learning and map skills with my students. They would be able to explore the world through this well-printed world globe.

Oceans, continents, countries, cities, lakes and rivers will be discussed throughout history, and they will be able to explore places they have never seen before.

A customized App is available for this globe. With this app, you can have an augmented reality experience in the animals/dinosaurs' world, hopping from country to country, and seeing famous landmarks. The globes help to spark their imagination and curiosity. It helps build knowledge, linguistic and cognitive skills. Students will be able to learn with excitement!
