Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love teaching third grade. My students come from very diverse cultures and backgrounds. We have such a love for learning and these classroom supplies will allow my students to have a safer and more inclusive experience in the classroom.

I want my students to be able to see themselves in the books they read and the basic care items available to them.

The Band-Aids available to my students are all one color and so having different skin tone bandages available will provide a more inclusive environment.

Having access to Calm Strips will allow my students to have a small outlet to work through any anxieties and sensory needs at their seats and around the classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
