My Project

Hi friends and supporters! As a pre-K special education teacher, I believe every child deserves a safe, inclusive, and engaging space to start their day. Our morning meetings are the heart of our classroom—where we build friendships, learn routines, and practice communication and social-emotional skills.

Right now, we don’t have a dedicated rug for this special time together.

This project is for a new, colorful, and soft morning meeting rug that will give each child their own space to feel calm, welcomed, and ready to learn. This rug will help my students—many of whom have sensory needs—feel grounded and supported as we come together each day.
