Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is my 7th year teaching. I am moving to 1st grade this year and would like to start off the year right with some items that are necessary for the school year to start.

Many of the children who come to this school come from rough backgrounds.

Being a Title I school, many of the students can not afford supplies or breakfast.

These students need someone who cares for them and their education, and that is me. As their teacher, I am willing to make sure that their education is their priority, and I need to start it now.

My Project

The flexible seating will help with small groups as well as students with ADHD. This way the students are in charge of their learning environment. As for the plain copy paper, that will help me make copies for my students to teach them how to read, write, and cut materials when needed. The students will use this material to complete school work, reading passages, and tests. The only problem we have is the school only gives us a certain amount of paper, which doesn’t help my students to be successful.

These materials will help my students to learn how to read, write, and cut in an everyday world.

I believe all these materials will help my students grow into successful 2nd graders.
